Take a beautiful walk through the New Westminster Quay to Quayside Park, where there is a boardwalk, and several playgrounds along the way.

We often enjoy going to the New Westminster Quay for ice cream and a nice walk along the boardwalk. There are various restaurants and stores at the River Market, and a seasonal concession as well. We usually park at 550 Columbia Street, but you can also take Skytrain to the New Westminster Station as well.
