Unique sculpture of a young woman with a seagull as a monument of sadness to a lost fiancé in the sea. Built upon a true story but represents the grief for all seamen that lost their lives at the sea.

Opatija's symbol, the girl with a sea-gull stands out on a rock and awaits for her sailor (as the legend goes). Great place to take photos and just enjoy the view.
