This chic hotel was a functioning prison until the 1990s, and they've retained some of the original architecture. If you're in the neighborhood, take a quick look inside or stay for a drink!

Old prison that has been transformed into a fabulous hotel with bar on the main level (Alibi) and trendy cocktail lounge on the upper level and with two restaurants (Scampo and Clink).

The Liberty Hotel is a cool, circular old building that used to be prison. It now contains the hotel, two bars and two restaurants, all of which are good and offer a great up-scale bar scene.
