The Blakes used to run a Jamaican restaurant in Atlanta. Then Charles met a New Orleans girl, his now-wife Lauren, and moved here. After a couple of years of making excuses, he finally visited New Orleans and has never left. 2 – Charles is the chef. He started cooking in Jamaica.

14 Parishes is a family-run Central City joint that dishes up homeland classics like beef patties and jerk chicken paired with sides like sweet plantains and cornbread. Jamaican Food served right here in NOLA.
