The elegant Massimo Bellini Theater is located in via Giuseppe Perrotta 12. It is a 19th century structure, built following the projects of the architects Andrea Scala and Carlo Sada, who had been inspired by the Paris Opera. Furthermore, the surrounding area is full of pleasant night clubs.

It's one of the most interesting places to see in Catania. It's dedicated to the famous compositor, Vincenzo Belllini, who was born in Catania and wrote masterpieces such as I puritani or La Norma.
