The Cove House Inn is right on Chesil Beach under 10 minutes walk downhill from Brackenbury House. They also have a free carpark and there are two other free carparks within a few minutes walk of the pub. Address: The Cove House Inn 91 Chiswell Portland Dorset DT5 1AW Open every day except Monday. Call in advance and book a table.

Unbeatable location right on the Esplanade next to Chesil Beach. The Cove House Inn is the best spot to grab a cold beer as the sun goes down - or to take shelter from the crashing waves, depending on the season. Serves standard pub food. Essential to book well ahead in peak season as indoor seating is limited.
