Great place to rent a pontoon for a full or have day and float Carters Lake. Carters Lake is more than 450 feet deep and spans 3200 surface acres. Carter's Dam is the tallest earthen dam east of the Mississippi River. This lake is quieter than other lakes because its there are no private docks or houses along its shoreline.

Rent a boat from the marina and sightsee the states deepest lake. Man made reservoir on the Coosawattee River in neighboring Gilmer County.
