chiedam is the place to be if you want to see the largest windmills in the world. With heights up to 33 meters, these giants are hard to miss. The windmill ‘De Nieuwe Palmboom’ (The New Palm Tree) is also a museum that can tell you everything there is to know about the history and purpose of the windmills of Schiedam.
