This Trail was orignially called Harney Peak, it has a gorgeous trail with a cool stone tower at the top! Checkout out the hiking ratings on alltrails.com. Spend the whole day in Hill City and hit up Alpine Inn for dinner and Prairie Berry for wine tasting!

This is one of the best trails to hike in the area. It takes about 3 hours up and down, but the views are amazing at the top and the old lookout is fun to explore.

If you're into hiking this is the spot for you. If you make it to the old fire tower the vies are incredible. Be sure to plan ahead as there are multiple trails varying in different levels of difficulty.

Black Elk Peak is the highest point on Earth between the Swiss Alps and the Rocky Mountains - for you East Coasters, that means this rises higher than the Appalachians! Highest point in Rapid City. Just under 7miles, out and back. Great view- heavily trafficked.
