If you’re a nature lover, or even if you’re not, this place is truly magical. Hiking on a trail above the water, you get to see the Golden Gate Bridge, where the Pacific Ocean flows into the Bay. The views are both breathtaking and romantic. With the wind blowing in your hair, holding hands throughout the hike, it’s very San Francisco. Set off on your hike early afternoon, and follow it up with a meal at the nearby Cliff House restaurant while the sun sets over the Pacific. The colors are amazing.

Wonderful spot to view Baker beach, Golden Gate Bridge and Marin headlands. The hiking trail continues to Sutro baths and is relatively easy with gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean

A gorgeous, one-hour roundtrip coastal walk in the city with views of the Golden Gate bridge. Free parking lot.

2 miles from the flat (35 minute walk or 5 minute drive). It’s touristy and also chock full of locals like us. There’s stunning views at every turn on the trail including the Golden Gate Bridge.
