Purling Brook Falls is well worth a whole day expedition, visiting 100-metre tall waterfalls, glittering swimming holes and a fragrant eucalyptus forest. While you can’t (technically) swim under Purling Brook Falls itself, follow the subtropical path all the way through to breathtaking lookouts and then hike the extra loop to Warringa Pool where you can spend all day submerged in fresh water pools. Heaven.

Looking for somewhere to have a Picnic? You will also find newly constructed picnic tables and relaxation areas near Purling Brook Falls (go to the end of Forestry Road) and there are other areas too where you can relax and enjoy a picnic lunch - try Tallanbana Picnic Area (2731 Springbrook Road) and Goomoolahra Picnic Area (2922 Springbrook Road), which is just down the road from Greenwood Farm). By prior arrangement, Greenwood Farm can prepare grazing table platter, lunch hampers and picnic baskets.
