It is a truly fascinating place with a history that begins during the Norman period. Over the years it has had various functions, from the seat of Parliament to the personal residence of the Aragonese kings, today it hosts the Civic Museum. 3 floors, tells the story of Catania and Sicily and preserves important objects and finds of great value. Allow about 2 hours for the visit.
