Urban eclectic shopping experience. Origianlly this site was called Rand Steam Laundries and the Ama-washa site of the late nineteenth century. The original buildings that were used for washing, ironing, dying and dry-cleaning were still standing in 2008 and have now been restored to its iconic former glory

Another favorite and really close by. Woolworths, PnP and some fabulous stores to browse. CowFish is great for sushi, dim sum and burgers just a bit pricey
